It enables your computer to recognize the dongle and securely store, validate, and update digital chart permits for C-MAP chart products. With the DPS USB connected, compatible ECDIS/ECS and voyage-planning applications can access licensed charts, apply new permits received from your chart provider, and keep entitlements synchronized between office and onboard systems, including in offline environments.
